Political Science
As a Political Science major at the University of Kentucky, you will begin your academic journey by exploring the foundational areas of the field: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory and Methodology. These introductory courses give you a broad understanding of how politics works both in the United States and around the world. Law and Justice
The Law and Justice major at the University of Kentucky offers students a multidisciplinary foundation in legal systems, justice, and the role of law in society. This program is ideal for students interested in careers related to law, public service, advocacy, or policy. Through a combination of core courses and specialized electives, students gain the tools to think critically about legal issues, develop strong analytical skills, and understand the complex relationship between law, rights, and society. Law and Justice students are required to complete pre-major coursework and courses across five components: core, law and courts, justice and rights, analysis and logic, and law and letters.
