Department Support for Internships and Financial Need

The Political Science Department is strongly committed to ensuring that all students can take advantage of opportunities regardless of financial need. Generous donations from alumni, faculty, and friends of the department allow us to provide support for students majoring in Political Science and Law and Justice who wish to engage in our internship opportunities. To request support for internship opportunities, please complete the Internship Financial Assistance form.

We also have funds to support Political Science and Law and Justice students who are financially disadvantaged and have specific needs for support. To request assistance from the department, please complete the Political Science Financial Hardship form.

We do not have specific deadlines or criteria for allocating these funds. Students who find themselves in need of financial support to stay in school or take advantage of opportunities like internships should fill out the forms linked above or contact the Department Chair.
